İlköğretim Okullarına Yardım Vakfı, also known as İLKYAR is a non for profit organization based in Turkey. Their work focuses on primary school students in boarding schools of rural Turkey. With volunteers joining from around the country, they visit these boarding schools to meet and motivate the students, to encourage them to read and to stay in school, contribute in the basic needs of these students ranging from a new pair of winter boots to pencils and notebooks, provide scholarships especially to girls to continue their education and establish libraries.
